Online therapy with a queer, neurodivergent therapist who gets it: Schedule here!
Show up exactly as you are.
Being queer, trans, autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent often means you’ve had to find your own ways of moving through a world that wasn’t designed with you in mind.
You might think deeply, feel intensely, love expansively, and experience the world in vivid, layered ways. You’ve probably also picked up some heavy baggage along the way—messaging that you’re “too much,” “not enough,” or “hard to understand.”
This is a space where you don’t have to shrink, explain, or over-function.
In therapy with Licensed Psychologist Kalila Beehler, Ph.D., your needs are not a burden. Your communication style isn’t “wrong.” You get to be your full self—and be met with curiosity, care, and respect. Get started here—they have openings this week.
You’ve spent enough time being misunderstood.

Kalila Beehler, Ph.D. (they/them) offers a space where you can:
- Unlearn internalized ableism and cisheteronormativity
- Build self-trust without burning out
- Navigate relationships that honor your boundaries, needs, and communication style
- Process missed or misunderstood diagnoses
- Imagine a life that feels spacious, grounded, and possible
You don’t need to have it all together to start. You just need a space where you’re safe to be real.

💡 FAQs on Queer Neurodivergent Therapy
Do I need a formal diagnosis to work with Kalila?
No. Kalila welcomes both self-diagnosed and formally diagnosed clients. Your lived experience is valid, regardless of whether you’ve received an official label.
What if I struggle with communication or processing in sessions?
That’s totally okay. Kalila is experienced in working with people who communicate in diverse ways, need extra processing time, or benefit from visual or written supports. Therapy is adjusted to fit you—not the other way around.
I’ve had bad therapy experiences in the past. How will this be different?
Kalila knows many LGBTQ+ neurodivergent folks have been pathologized, misgendered, or dismissed by therapists. Their approach is collaborative, consent-based, and non-pathologizing. You’ll never be shamed for how you think, feel, or express yourself.
Is therapy just talking? What if I need something more structured or sensory-friendly?
Sessions can include visual aids, grounding practices, shared notes, agenda-setting, or breaks—depending on what helps you feel supported. Dr. Beehler will co-create a format that works with your brain and body.
